Making Good Money Doing Something That Interests You

It is completely possible to quickly move from wherever you are now to a life where you are making good money doing something that interests you.

The idea is to begin connecting to the things you care about most and then follow a solid action plan to make it happen.

It has been a struggle trying to figure out how best to help people understand how best to get off the fence and actually begin working with what they love doing.  The problem is people think that what they first start with will be their world shattering forever work of art.

In talking with my mentor, Mike Jay, he said that to be successful, you need to work in your passion, doing that which you love doing.  However to truly know your passion, you must just begin on anything that you enjoy doing.

After you know how to build your SSS, and after you have built 7 to 12 sites you will hit on you’re THE PASSION that you will work in to share with the world that will make a difference in the lives of others.

Keep in mind that you do not need to solve the world’s problems or change the course of the universe through sharing your passion.  You only need to do something that will touch the lives of others in any small way.  It could be an idea that makes something easier for others to do or an idea to put some joy in the lives of others.

A simple idea I like to use is to just walk along a busy street and smile at passersby.  You will feel better and they will feel better.  If your passion is to just put a smile on another’s face for 3 seconds, then you will have changed the lives of all that come in contact with you.

Some of you may have seen videos of people holding up a sign that reads “Free hugs today.”  People who have a need for a huge (most people do not get enough hugs in their lives) can just go up to the sign holder and get hugged.  It has surprised me to see how many people take the sign holders up on the free hug.

The sign holders are adding value to the lives of others, even if it only for a moment.  I would be willing to bet that the result of those hugs lasted for many hours or even days.

If you know a way to live more healthily then share that with others.  If you know of ways to make gardening more enjoyable and productive then share that.  If you like to collect stamps, you can share your methods with others.

There are so many ways to add value to the lives of others.  In fact, take a piece of paper and write down all the things that you enjoy doing.  Then look at the list and come up with ways that what you listed can make a difference for others.
